Introducing:

Leah Paras, PMP

Leah Paras has over 20 years of first-hand experience in project management and quality improvement. Her experience spans the areas of data processing, project management, quality initiatives and education. Her lifelong passion is training. Leah’s training experience ranges from Karate lessons in a dojo to Calculus at the college undergraduate level and project management at college graduate levels.

As a manager for a large telecommunications firm, Leah Paras managed mission critical projects in support of antitrust litigation, as well as sales and marketing applications. Later, Leah consulted in the areas of Quality Management and Continuous Improvement. She worked with senior management to implement a Total Quality Management (TQM) System. She coached quality improvement teams in the use of quality tools, problem solving techniques and group dynamics.

Leah has provided consultation and training to diverse organizations including Banking, Telecommunications, Information Systems, Insurance, Military, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Railroads and Not-for Profit environments.

Leah Paras earned certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).  She was a founding officer of PMI’s Austin Chapter.  She is also a long-standing member of the Society for the Advancement of Management.  Leah holds BA and MA degrees.

Today Leah spends most of her time working with people who are determined to improve their knowledge and skills in project management. Some of the world’s largest corporations and some of the smallest are gaining as a result. Leah Paras is a Senior Associate with J. J. Glatt & Associates, Inc., a professional services firm specializing in Project Management consultation, training and software support services. Leah spends her free time with her husband on the beach in South Florida.
