Introducing:Janet Lambertson, CCP, PMP Janet Lambertson, an active member of the Project Management Institute, is highly involved in the field of Project Management consultation and training. She has developed and performed training programs and consulting services to over 2,500 employees of major firms throughout North America. She brings with her over 25 years of management training, consulting and software support experience. Janet is a Senior Associate of J. J. Glatt & Associates, Inc., a professional services firm specializing in Program & Project Management consultation, training and software support services. Previously, Janet served as a software design instructor and consultant in the highly respected Software Engineering Curriculum with a Big 3 Telecommunications firm. Janet also held positions of senior instructor / course developer and Technical Curriculum Manager. From a project practitioner perspective, Janet has been responsible for research, analysis, design and documentation of EDP systems. She directed and assisted members of the project team during all phases of system development. Janet has personally designed and coded EDP systems using several coding languages and data base management systems in different operating system environments. Janet was a successful Project Manager of a new multi-million dollar software development project for Continental Insurance Company. She also held the position of Manager of all technical training for a software development shop exceeding 1,000 Information Technology professionals at Insco Corporation. She has provided consultation, training and software support services to some of North America’s largest firms including Telecommunications, Insurance, Information Systems and Manufacturing environments. Janet Lambertson has led countless training sessions on System Development Strategies & Methodologies and Project Management including the famous Project Management Simulation Workshop, which incorporates the use of a computer-based simulation package. She is also extremely skilled with the functions and features, both essential and advanced, of the leading Project Management software package Microsoft Project. Janet is a faculty member delivering the Project Management Professional Program affiliated with Stevens Institute of Technology at Lucent Technologies, Inc. This program offers both a Masters Certificate in Project Management and a Masters Degree (M.S.) in Management with a specialization in Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. Janet holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics; has earned the highly respected Certificate in Data Processing (CDP) and Certificate of Computer Professional (CCP) from the Institute for the Certification of Computer Professionals; and is certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Janet has also exercised her project management skills in a volunteer capacity that included the Holmdel Township Planning Board and as Chair of the Holmdel Board of Education Technology Committee, whose mission was to infuse technology into the curriculum and infrastructure of the Holmdel Township public school. |
