Introducing:Jack Kearns, PMP Jack Kearns, an active member of the Project Management Institute, is a highly regarded practitioner in the field of Project Management consultation and training. He has developed and performed training programs, seminars, Symposium speaking engagements and consulting services to over 8,500 employees of major firms throughout the United States, Canada, Asia and Europe. He brings with him over 35 years experience in the area of data processing and project management, being involved with a variety of projects involving the intersection of the two disciplines. Jack is a Senior Associate of J. J. Glatt & Associates, Inc., a professional services firm specializing in Program & Project Management consultation, training and software support services. Jack’s teaching career follows an extensive career as an executive with a Big 3 Telecommunications firm. His career involved managing project teams on medium and large EDP projects, product life cycle management, business operations, business process re–engineering, financial matters, corporate planning, public relations and new product realization. His major areas of contribution, both in EDP systems and operations, were focused on order entry and processing, billing, sales support (including product configuration), and customer maintenance support. Jack has provided consultation, training and software support services to some of the largest firms worldwide. He has served clients in the fields of telecommunications services, high technology product manufacturing, information systems, government agencies, banking and investment companies, major utilities, commodity manufacturers, and research and development organizations. He has delivered project management training in 16 countries outside the United States, as well as extensive delivery within the continental U.S. Jack is a faculty member delivering Project Management Professional Programs in affiliation with Stevens Institute of Technology, the University of Colorado at Denver, and Boston University. These programs offer Masters Certificates in Project Management. Some offer Masters degrees in the project management profession. In 1994, the Project Management Institute certified Jack as a Project Management Professional. In addition to holding BS and MS degrees, Jack has attended the Rutgers University Advanced Management Program and the Wharton School. Jack has served for more than six years on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chapter of the Project Management Institute, one of the largest in the world, and currently serves as Editor and Publisher of the Chapter’s highly successful newsletter. |
