Introducing:Joe Glatt CCP, PMP Joe Glatt, an active member of the Project Management Institute, is a highly regarded practitioner in the field of Project Management consultation and training. He has developed and performed training programs, seminars, Symposium speaking engagements and consulting services to over 16,500 employees of major firms throughout the United States, Canada, South America, Europe and Asia. He brings with him over 28 years experience in the area of emerging technologies and project management, being involved with a variety of projects involving the intersection of the two disciplines. Joe is President and founder of J. J. Glatt & Associates, Inc., a professional services firm specializing in Project & Program Management consultation, training and software support services. Previously, Joe served as lead instructor and consultant in a highly respected Software Engineering Project Management Curriculum for a firm in the Telecommunications industry. Joe exhibits a high level of expertise in instructional technology methods and techniques. He was responsible for research, analysis, design and documentation of IT systems. He directed and assisted members of the project team during all phases of system development. Joe has personally designed and coded computer based systems using several coding languages and data base management systems in different operating system environments. Joe has logged many hours installing software as well as performing operational reviews. He’s also held information technology Project Management positions in the newspaper publishing business. He has provided consultation, training and software support services to some of the World’s largest firms including Telecommunications, Information Systems, Pharmaceutical, Finance and Manufacturing environments. Joe Glatt has authored courseware on System Development Strategies & Methodologies and Project Management including the famous Project Management Simulation Workshop which incorporates the use of a computer based simulation software package, originally copyrighted in 1984. He is also familiar with the functions and features of Project Management software packages including Microsoft Project. Joe's faculty positions included the delivery of the Project Management Professional Program affiliated with Stevens Institute of Technology at Lucent Technologies, Inc. This program offers both a Masters Certificate in Project Management and a Masters Degree (M.S.) in Management with a specialization in Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. Joe was awarded certification and recertification by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (1986, 1993, 2001 and 2004); holds B.S. and M.S. degrees; and has earned the highly respected Certificate in Data Processing from the Institute for the Certification of Computer Professionals. Joe is also an adjunct faculty member of the Boston University Corporate Education Center as well as delivering PM courses which contribute to the Practitioner Certificate Program in PM and the Advanced Certificate Program in PM granted by the University of Colorado at Denver. Since joining their faculty in 2001, Joe has been delivering The Project Management Simulation Workshop sponsored by The Georgia Tech Institute for Project Management. The Georgia Institute of Technology Project Management Professional Program is delivered on the Georgia Tech campus for Georgia based corporate professionals. The College of Management at Georgia Tech has created a marvelous learning opportunity, and we are proud to have been selected to participate with this distinguished faculty. Joe served as Vice President Finance (1994-1996) on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chapter of the Project Management Institute and Vice President Membership (1996-1998) of this chapter, one of the largest in the world. Joe served as an Advisor to the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chapter of the Project Management Institute (1998-2000). |
