Introducing:
Alan Berman, PMP
Alan S. Berman, an active member of the Project Management Institute, is a
highly regarded practitioner in the field of Project Management consultation and
training. He has developed and performed training programs, seminars, Symposium
speaking engagements and consulting services to over 8,500 employees of major
firms throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and South America.
Alan S. Berman PMP, MPA, has over 20 years of management experience in both
Government and the Private sector. In Government service, Mr. Berman was
responsible for Project Management, Policy Analysis, Quality Assurance,
Performance Measurement, Financial and Regulatory Compliance, and Contract
Administration across functional areas. Alan is a highly regarded Associate of
J. J. Glatt & Associates, Inc., a professional services firm specializing in
Project Management consultation, training and software support services.
As a Project Manager in the Defense Contracting Industry, Mr. Berman was
involved both in the Bid and Proposal process and as Project Manager. He was the
Project Manager for projects including, the development of software
applications, installation and upgrades of complex secure communications
systems, and the operations and maintenance of installed communications systems.
Alan has been a technical recruiter and account representative in the
programming and system maintenance service market.
He has also provided direct project management support, consultation, training
and software support services to some of America’s largest firms including
telecommunications, financial, insurance, banking, pharmaceutical, software and
manufacturing environments. Alan’s seminars and training programs have been
extremely well received worldwide.
Alan Berman delivers many types of Project Management programs including the
highly successful Project Management Simulation Workshop, which incorporates the
use of a computer based simulation package. He is also a subject matter expert
concerning the functions and features of Project Management software packages
including: Microsoft Project.
Alan is a faculty member delivering the Project Management Professional Program
affiliated with Stevens Institute of Technology at Lucent Technologies, Inc.
This program offers both a Masters Certificate in Project Management and a
Masters Degree (M.S.) in Management with a specialization in Project Management
from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. Alan is also an
adjunct faculty member of the Boston University Corporate Education Center. Alan
holds an M.A. in Public Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
